What do we do?

We Transform Status Quo Businesses into Wildly Successful Enterprises

Status quo business practices are often highly ineffective, yet routine woven into the fabric of society.  Following status quo thinking has stifled creativity, productivity, innovation, and adaptability in organizations for hundreds of years.  There is no evidence that status quo thinking was derived from anyone determining the best way to design high performing organizations

Can you share an example of a time in your business when you Overcame Challenges and Invented New Ways?

After 25 years of being hired to bring positive change and impacting the bottom line by over $6 Billion while consistently experiencing brutal resistance to that positive change, I had to question why; why leaders did not appreciate and understand adopting new ways to improve the health of their business and employees.

The biggest challenge to overcome is what we are blind to: we simply don’t know what we don’t know.

To overcome this challenge, I invented the Wildly Successful Enterprises Program.

Part 1 of the program walks everyone in the organization through the traditional practices they are using today (many unconsciously) and proves how ineffective these practices are. This allows for people to become aware of the fact that there must be better ways to work together.

Part 2 of the program presents a simple, unified business model that incorporates timeless, proven practices that become the very fabric of the business – dramatically improving organizational performance and creating a joyful culture. The positive aspects of this model have people gravitate towards a new future of working together.

Can you share an educational tip of how Overcoming Challenges and Inventing New Ways in Business can help business leaders have their organizations grow and flourish?

DIFFERENT does not mean DIFFICULT.

Simple changes in organizational focus, structure, and mindset, you can quickly achieve unprecedented results while eliminating all common challenges organizations face while simplifying ways to operate and manage your business.

What tips of guidance do you have for leaders to Overcome Challenges and Invent New Ways in Business in 2021 and any pitfalls to look out for through these testing times?

  1. Ask yourself, and then leaders and employees, to articulate the purpose of the organization. You will discover the need to define your organizational value proposition and ensure everyone in the organization understands it. Clarity and alignment of purpose will yield unprecedented productivity boosts.
  2. Design your organization with the primary goal to deliver on its value proposition. Structure determines activity, so align your organization to the value delivery flow instead of creating departmental siloes.
  3. Ensure that everyone in the organization is aligned to, and accountable for, value delivery. Adapt a customer journey-centric mindset of continuous improvement.

Can you share an example of a time in your business when you Overcome Challenges and Invented New Ways?

When confronted with difficult decisions as a new business owner, I would very often wish that the challenges would magically disappear. I often wished I could retreat to my cave of comfort, and hide from my responsibilities, until I read this quote from Maya Angelou, “Stand up straight and realize who you are, that you tower over your circumstances. In that moment, I realized I had a choice to either fight or flee; I chose to fight and decided instead, to turn my challenges into opportunities and my opportunities into achievement! Why don’t you…

Can you share an educational tip of how Overcoming Challenges and Inventing New Ways in Business can help individuals in Women’s Leadership Empowerment to grow and flourish through 2021?

Developing personal leadership empowerment is at the core how I serve people and Dr John C. Maxwell, provides this perspective: “You cannot win if you do not begin! The people who get ahead in the world are the ones who look for the circumstances they want. And if they can’t find them, they make them.” What do you have in your hand, what skills, knowledge and experiences do you already possess that you can use in a different way to help you achieve the goals you are seeking? Learn to use what you have, think outside the box, your solution may be closer than you think!

What tips or guidance do you have for individuals in Women’s Leadership Empowerment to Overcome Challenges and Invent New Ways in Business in 2021 and any pitfalls to look out for through these testing times?

There are three tools we all possess to fight a good fight.

Firstly, your thoughts, you need to strengthen your mindset and take control of your thoughts, if not your thoughts will take control of you.

Secondly, your words, what are you choosing to say about your circumstances, why not speak what you would like to see happen, instead of what you see in front of you.

Thirdly, your actions, are your actions resulting in positive or negative outcomes, remember to get a different outcome you have to decide on purpose, to do things in a different way! The choice is yours…

Howard Stephen Berg Howard Stephen Berg

Howard Stephen Berg is recognized as the world’s fastest reader for reading over 80 pages per minute.

Can you share an example of a time in your business when you Overcome Challenges and Invented New Ways?

I went to the State University of New York at Binghamton at 17 to major in Biology. In the second half of my junior year I became interested in the brain and also wanted to major in Psychology. The Dean said, “You would need to take and complete the four year Psychology program in a single year, and finish the Biology program at the same time which would require taking 18 credits of science two semesters in a row. Since you are also working 18 hours a week, you just aren’t smart enough to do this.”

I realized they never taught me how to learn in school. They told me what to learn, why to learn, and what would happen if I didn’t learn but not why you could hear a song on the radio once, and remember it for your entire life. Then you could read, “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People,” and not remember any habits the next day.

I believed there had to be a way to learn important information just like you could easily learn a new song. I used what I learned about the brain to read 80 pages a minute. A speed that earned me a placement in the “1990 Guinness Book of World Records.”

I completed the four-year Psychology program in a single year and took the Graduate Record Exam in Biology. In three nights I read 48 books like Genetics, Biochemistry, and Cell Physiology. I scored an 800 placing me in the 99% percentile of Biologists graduating globally that year.

I then wondered if I was special or the system I developed was responsible for my success.

I taught my system to youngsters aged 11-15.  They read a 30 chapter book on Lifelong Developmental Psychology, a Sophomore’s course in college, in just 1 week. Fifteen out of eighteen students passed the CLEP, an advanced placement exam for full credit after just 1 week. I knew I had discovered a way to empower anyone to learn faster and better.

Can you share an educational tip of how Overcoming Challenges and Inventing New Ways in Business can help individuals in Brain-Based Learning to grow and flourish through 2021?

Did you know that the information you need to know doubles every six months? Let me share with you my brain-based learning strategy for reading faster. In the next few minutes you will learn to read 20-40% faster.

Get a non-fiction book that you already understand. Time yourself and read normally for one minute. Place a pencil mark in the margin where you finished at 1 minute. You now have measured your current reading speed.

Now for the magic. Go to the second chapter. Move your hand across from left to right with your eyes following your hand as fast as you can comprehend.

Keep speeding up until you can’t comprehend. Then slow down just enough so your comprehension returns. Then for five minutes using your hand to guide your eyes, read one line at a time as fast as you can comprehend.

Return to the first chapter where you initially tested your reading speed. Time yourself for one minute and this time use your hands to read as fast as you can comprehend. You’ll amaze yourself as you blast 20-40% further than the mark you made during your first timing exercise.

This is the first step in learning to read 100-400% faster with excellent comprehension and retention.

What tips or guidance do you have for individuals in brain-based learning to Overcome Challenges and Invent New Ways in Business in 2021 and any pitfalls to look out for through these testing times?

Every decision you make is based upon what you know.  I’ve read over 30,000 books so I can create new solutions no one else has thought about.

Elon Musk reads 2 books a day. Bill Gates, Oprah, Warren Buffet, and Oprah all read a book a day.   Look at their bank accounts and then look at yours. What does this tell you about the importance of reading and learning for earning and success in today’s information-based economy?

Reading is only one part of the solution. I’ve combined it with study skills to maximize comprehension of even complex information. Memory skills for remembering the information when I need to use it. Plus emotional intelligence skills for staying focused and maximizing my performance.

By learning to combine all of these skills in just a few hours’ time, you can learn 100-400% faster to increase your success.

Just look at some of my students’ success stories…

Stephen T graduated from U of Texas at Arlington at 16 while majoring in Economics with a 4.0 GPA.   He earned a Masters in Math for Oklahoma U at 19 with a 3.97 GPA and is a Yale Professor today.

Justin B was a C student at 11, and an English professor at 22.

Micah S passed the California Bar at 19.

Brad V completed his BA in six months to become a missionary.

Ruth L was 84 and read 3 books in 3 hours the day after I taught her.

I trained the U.S. Special Forces at Fort Bragg and the Royal Thai Army in Bangkok along with many Fortune 500 companies.

Maurice Thompson Jr., past chairman of Evelyn Woods said, “you have gone past speed reading to speed learning taking the discipline into the 21st century.”

To really listen to the needs of your clients right now. . . the stressors and challenges of life are more layered now than ever before. . . listen to what your clients are saying to you, then respond in a way that supports them by building on your existing services, skills and expertise

What tips of guidance do you have for individuals in Health & Wellness and Personal Development to Overcome Challenges and Invent New Ways In Business in 2021 and any pitfalls to look out for through these testing times?

 (1) Don’t limit yourself to your conventional ways of offering services. Be willing to expand the services you offer in new ways

(2) Listen to your intuition and spiritual guidance. I was guided by dreams 30 years ago to offer holistic healing services when I already had a career that I enjoyed in environmental policy and climate change. The soul always knows how to guide us, if we take quiet moments to listen, understand and follow through.

3) Release fear of how your business will survive… Connect with the inner knowing that change is a natural part of life, and you will always find a path forward that is best for you, your business and the world. You are here to offer your talents, to lead and be successful, to be a conscious leader, at this time of incredible change. You will be supported in doing so, when you reach out for help, are committed, work hard and listen to your heart

Can you share an example of a time in your business when you Overcome Challenges and Invented New Ways?

With over 30 years of combined experience working in the addiction and mental health field, my partner, Cindy, and I wanted to find techniques that would benefit our clients in more effective ways.  We wanted to provide an approach that included cutting-edge techniques with ensured results.  Our first thought was to write a book so that we could reach more individuals who were suffering.  Our first book, The Magic Within: How To Transform Your Life, included amazing strategies we had accumulated over the years. Furthermore, we then continued on our own journey of growth and found NLP, Neuro Linguistic Programing, Hypnosis and MER®, Mental Emotional Release. The MER® technique frees a person from the negative emotions attached to traumatic events in the first session. It is non-invasive, fast, and does not traumatize the client. In fact, we created a Freedom Session and in as little as 2 to 3 hours we can change someone’s trauma and limiting beliefs, freeing them from past pain and trauma!

Can you share an educational tip of how Overcoming Challenges and Inventing New Ways in Business can help individuals in Personal Empowerment to grow and flourish through 2021?

We learned NLP to help our clients. The ironic part is we used the different techniques we learned on ourselves, family and friends. The results were amazing. We quickly realized that we had found a way to really help others.  We now specialize in the life areas of relationships, health and wellness as well as business. The proof was in our own transformation. Due to having clients from different countries, we have utilized zoom. The results are amazing.

What tips or guidance do you have for individuals in Personal Empowerment to Overcome Challenges and Invent New Ways in Business in 2021 and any pitfalls to look out for through these testing times?

Something we really believe in is to keep learning. Yes, keep learning, never think you know it all. If I would have stopped learning after finishing school and working as an addictions counselor I would never have learned NLP. Everything you learn has good teachers and not-so-good teachers. I have taken different NLP training and they are not all the same. Do your research when you are looking for training in anything you want to learn. A saying I use often is “Never Ever Give Up, You are Worthy of your Dream Life”.

Davina SchonleDavina Schonle

Davina is a global business consultant, speaker, trainer and founder of S2C (Selling into Corporates) and co-founder of B2B Chicks based in the UK.

Can you share an example of a time in your business when you Overcome Challenges and Invented New Ways?

When I left my corporate job what I intended to do is not what I pivoted to do. I felt the need to pivot from my plans when it became apparent there was a gap in the market and that individuals and businesses were requesting my support to help them with corporate sales. What I had not prepared for was to be a known personal brand and during this pivot realised how uncomfortable I felt on camera and being ‘visible’ on social media. In order to overcome some of those fears, I flew to Bali to throw myself in the deep end and learn to be a public speaker to be able to show up as confident online as I am in the Boardroom. This really helped me during the COVID pandemic so that I could continue to grow my business and support so many other businesses to survive and thrive.

Can you share an educational tip of how Overcoming Challenges and Inventing New Ways in Business can help individuals in the coaching and professional services industry to grow and flourish through 2021?

Choose an industry you are passionate about and interested in. There is no point in keeping building up a business in an industry you are bored of. In order to be able to support businesses to the best of your ability then you have to be invested and interested in what they are trying to achieve. Often coaches and service-based experts support the industry they have just left and whilst that is good for utilizing a network you may have, sometimes you are no longer passionate about that industry. My clients are often working with large organisations and global brands so to be a real asset and partner to that company you need to know what is going on in that industry and what and who the key players are so you can fully understand their challenges and support them.

Sometimes it makes sense to do a transitional approach whilst pivoting to keep the revenue coming in but the sooner you start working with companies and industries that fill your heart with joy and excitement the more your business will grow naturally.

What tips or guidance do you have for individuals in the coaching and professional services industry to Overcome Challenges and Invent New Ways in Business in 2021 and any pitfalls to look out for through these testing times?

Think about your values and what you want your lifestyle to look like in 3 years’ time. Too often I have seen people build businesses that don’t support the vision they have for their personal life. For example, consider the season of your life… how old will you be, do you have children, how old will they be, how many days a week do you want to work, what type of work do you want to be doing, do you want to grow a team, do you want to travel with your business, what do you do in your spare time? All these things are important to consider to set the right wheels in motion.

Can you share an example of a time in your business when you Overcame Challenges and Invented New Ways?

I was a caregiver for my mother who had cancer and it was so overwhelming I could no longer counsel my clients due to her pressing needs. I knew I had to step away for a time, it was a very difficult choice to make. As I transitioned my clients to a few well-trusted qualified counselors, I had to take extra time after my mother passed because I needed time to grieve, rest, and heal emotionally from the 22-month long journey.

Can you share an educational tip on how Overcoming Challenges and Inventing New Ways in Business can help individuals if they find themselves entering a season of caring for a loved one?

As shared in the book, The Highest of Care: A Journey Through Cancer, having a loved one diagnosed with a terminal illness can bring upheaval and massive change to your life. Your entire world may shift, and the needs of your loved one may become all-consuming. My advice leans towards the importance of self-care, having a support system, and relying on the gift of hospice services. There are many unknowns within the journey of being a caregiver, so relying on others whenever possible and most importantly activating faith in God will help you to navigate through the twists and turns.

What tips or guidance do you have for individuals in ministry or who have a counseling practice?

Being in ministry or having a counseling practice can be challenging when leading and helping others into a place of healing, freedom, and transformation. There are days and even weeks that may require more of your energy and time, depending on the needs of the people you serve. Caring for a loved one, particularly an aging parent who has a terminal diagnosis can be extremely difficult— emotionally, physically, and financially. Combine working full-time with the responsibilities of being a caregiver and one can find that their capacity to handle it all may diminish.

When I got to the point where I knew I could not give to my clients and to my very ill mother, I had to make the choice as to what would be best for my clients, my mom, and for myself. I could see that my mother was in decline, and she would need more of my help as the days went on. I was also aware that I too was in a bit of a decline mentally, physically and spiritually given the challenges I was facing. The reality is caring for a loved one is hard and requires a lot.

Eventually, I was able to resume my ministry, and what came out of the caregiving journey was a book that was written to help others who find themselves in a similar experience. That being said— there was also a miraculous life-after-death encounter I had alongside my mom, which is also shared in the book. The video of the miracle that happened can be seen in the link below. It is a reminder that you are never alone in your journey. There is hope and God will be with you and your loved one in times of greatest need.
